School Rules
- Students are expected to behave in a respectful manner towards everyone at all times.
- Students must be in school no later than 7:45 am.
- Students must be punctual in arriving at lessons.
- Students must complete all homework by the due date or face a homework detention during recess.
- Students must wear the correct uniform or risk a homework detention.
- Students who leave a lesson for any reason must be in possession of a pass from the teacher or floor monitor.
- Students must be well behaved on the bus and must accept the authority of the driver and the bus monitor.
- Students must have an appropriate school bag, required equipment, books required for the day.
- Cameras, mobile phones, MP3s, iPods, other electronic device and personal
- Stereos are not to be brought in school. If found they will be confiscated. (Mobile
- Phones are not used (on) except for educational use under the supervision of the teachers.
- Students must look after the classroom and keep it clean and tidy at all times.
- Valuable items must not be brought into school. The school will not be responsible for these items.
- No bad language will be tolerated within the school premises.
- Chewing gum is not permitted within school.
- Hairstyles must be appropriate: gel and spiked hair are not acceptable.
- Girls’ hair must be tied back.
- Personal cleanliness and hygiene expected.
- Smoking will result in expulsion from school.
- Students must line up in a quiet and orderly manner before being allowed to enter a room.
- Students will not be allowed to leave school during class hours. In the case of an emergency, written permission must be sought from the Head of School.
- Students must go to the school doctor if they feel unwell. Students cannot go home without the permission of the doctor and the Head of School.
- Cheating is unacceptable and any student using unfair means to undertake a test / examination will be removed and report will be issued.
- Library books must be returned on time. Students will be asked to pay the replacement cost if the library book is lost or not returned.
- Any damage to school property will be made up or compensated.
- Inappropriate behavior such as bullying or verbal/ physical aggression will be dealt with as a serious violation according to ministry of education code of conduct.
